Speaker Biography
Dr Mark Wevill completed his Ophthalmic Surgery training at the University of Cape Town, and has also awarded qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Ophthalmology, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Ulster University and is a fellow of the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences.
He is on the ophthalmic surgery training faculty of the Community Eye Health Institute of the University of Cape Town and the Charity Committee of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is in private ophthalmic practice in Birmingham, UK and he supports eye care programs in Uganda and Eswatini.
