Rahila Zakir manages retinal conditions such as retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane, retinal tears, diabetic retinopathy, vitreous haemorrhage, vitreomacular traction and eye trauma.

Miss Zakir offers second opinions on retinal surgery management options. She is the lead trainer for the surgical training in London and has the role for leading the training for juniors in London and set up Imperial college surgical training unit for all ophthalmologists in the region and rotation.

She also manages common retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy, macular oedema, macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusions.
