Dr Daniel Kiage is the Founder and Medical Director of Kisii Eye Hospital, a social enterprise that avails high quality eye care services to the Southwestern part of Kenya. He attended his Undergraduate Medical training and Master of Medicine [Ophthalmology] in the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He later proceeded to the University of Ottawa, Canada for a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Glaucoma. He has previously served in the following positions: –

• • • Zonal Eye Surgeon in Nyeri Kenya
    • Medical Director Lighthouse for Christ Eye Centre in Mombasa Kenya
    • Head of Section of Ophthalmology in Aga Khan University Hospital – Nairobi [AKUH-N] – While at AKUH-N he achieved a rank of Assistant Professor.
    • Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology – University of Nairobi.
